Coalway Junior School




We are looking to appoint caring, enthusiastic, flexible and committed Midday Supervisors to join our team at Coalway Junior School. 

Duties involve:

supporting and supervising children eating their lunch,

supervising children when they are playing

helping to facilitate games

working alongside our playground ‘peer mediators’

dealing with first aid (subject to training)

setting up the hall at the start of the break and clearing down at the end


Previous experience is not necessary as training will be provided, however an enjoyment of children is essential.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to spend a trial lunchtime with our current team, followed by a short interview with the Head Teacher.  Please note this may be subject to change dependent on the restrictions put in place due to Covid-19.  All necessary Covid-19 precautions will be taken during the interview process. 

The post is part-time, term-time only, working Monday-Friday, 12.05pm-1.20pm.  These hours have been extended by 15 minutes each day, for a temporary period, in order for additional cleaning to be completed, in line with Covid-19 guidelines.
