Lunch Menus

Our hot meals are freshly prepared and cooked in our kitchen at Coalway Junior by staff from Caterlink, using fresh produce. Each day, there are 3 meal choices, one of which is vegetarian.

Meals for children are charged at £2.34/day, payable via ParentPay only.  Hot meals must be booked and paid for in advance, via ParentPay. Bookings can be made on a daily basis or you can book for a week, month, term in advance.  

ParentPay logins are issued to parents/carers when children register at the school.  Please contact the School Office if you need a reminder of your ParentPay login. Please be aware, if your child had a ParentPay account at Coalway Community Infant School, it will be replaced by their Coalway Junior School account.  

Meals can be booked until 8.30am on the day of eating.  If you have forgotten to book a meal for your child, you may contact the School Office between 8.30-10.00am so that a meal can be ordered.  

Meals must be paid for within 2 hours of booking; unpaid meal bookings will be cancelled automatically by ParentPay.  

If your child is unwell, you can cancel the meal booking before 8.30am. Meals that are not cancelled will be charged. 

Alternatively, a healthy packed lunch can be bought in from home. We ask that children do not bring fizzy drinks, sweets or chocolate to school. We are a healthy school and we promote a balanced diet for all of our pupils.  Lunch boxes & bottles should be labelled with your child's name.  

If your child has special dietary needs, you will need to complete a form provided by Caterlink.  Please contact the School Office for more information.
