Welcome to PE at Coalway Junior School!

Here Come the Girls!
All children have access to 2 hours of PE per week with the addition of after school clubs if the children choose to do so.
Here at Coalway Junior School we follow the scheme GetSet4PE where children are able to develop their fundamental movement skills.
School Games!
We are very proud to announce that we achieved the Gold standard for the School Games Mark again for the academic Year 2022/23. We hope to continue this moving forward to 2023/24.
Coalway Junior School takes pride in participating in as many School Games Events as possible to allow as many children as we can to participate as possible.
Sports Day 2023
The weather was kind to us this year and sports day was a huge success. Well done to all of the children who took part, a great day and a day to remember! A special well done to owls who were victorious!
CHAMPIONS!
Well done to our Year 3/4 football team who entered a football competition and won the event! As always a credit to the school! Well done Coalway!
Cross Country 2023
Well done to these children from Year 5 and 6 who took part in the School Games Cross Country Competition. All children tried their very best, the support they received from each other was impeccable and as always conducted themselves outstandingly well. Well done to 6 children who managed to qualify for the County Cross Country Competition and will now go on to represent the Forest of Dean.

This group of Year 5 and 6 children took part in girls football competition. Winning 2, drawing 2 and losing 1. As always a credit to the school! Well done girls!
