Ice to Iron
This term we will be having lots of fun learning all about the Arctic and life during the Stone Age.
We will be reading some exciting books, beginning with the beautifully illustrated picture book 'Stone Age Boy' by Satoshi Kitamura This, together with the classic tale 'Stig of the Dump' by Clive King , will help us to write both creatively and factually. It is going to be a busy term - full of creative, imaginative activities.
We are also going to have lots of fun each week working with Mr Tadhunter doing outdoor active learning so be prepared to get muddy! Wellies will be needed!
What will we be learning about this term?
Your homework throughout the Autumn term -
~Read 3 times each week to an adult. Make sure your Reading Record is signed each time you read at home. We will be checking these every Monday.
~Remember to make sure you hand in your reading book when you have finished reading it so that you can change it.
~Learn to write your full name correctly. Remember both your first name and your surname needs capital letters! You are important! You are a proper noun!-
